This CPD course is designed to equip catechists with a comprehensive understanding of moral formation, focusing on the psychological and spiritual development of children and pre-adolescents. Over five engaging sessions, participants will learn how to tailor catechetical formation to meet the unique needs of each child, respecting their gradual development. The course integrates insights from social sciences and the Catholic moral tradition, grounding the content in the Gospel and contextualizing it within the family, academic, and community environments where children live.Catechists will develop a deeper understanding of the Commandments as expressions of God’s love and covenant, and learn effective pedagogical strategies for communicating these teachings to children and pre-adolescents. The course also provides tools to convey the significance of the Beatitudes, helping catechists inspire the younger generation. Additionally, the program explores the moral formation of children in discovering their personal vocation.By the end of this course, catechists will be empowered to confidently guide children and pre-adolescents on their moral and spiritual journeys, laying a strong foundation for a life rooted in Christian values.

The course is composed of five sessions which will each be held in a different location. The aim is to integrate Sacred Scripture with Sacred Architecture, linking the two dimensions. It is designed for anyone with an interest in how the intrinsic link between the two can emerge in some of the Churches that surround us and the meaning that can be deduced from such surroundings. Among the Churches considered in this course, we find the Annunciation Church in Balzan, St Mary's Church and St Helen's Basilica in Birkirkara, the Rotunda in Mosta, and St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. This course aims to help the student see the space surrounding them in places of worship with new eyes and be able to experience this presence in a different way. This course is suitable for all, regardless of their background in architecture, and no prior experience is required.

Instead, ‘the mass is ended go in the peace’ is an exhortation so that what we received during mass transform our hearts, our families, our homes, and our schools into a welcoming place to encounter Christ until we gather again the following Sunday to be strengthened and sent forth once again.In this course, Living Beyond Sunday, we explore how the liturgy, as the source and summit of Christian life, can inspire and shape our daily living. The course invites adults to discover how the rhythm of the liturgical year offers a spiritual framework that can be lived out beyond the church walls. Through practical suggestions and reflective insights, participants will learn how to engage with the seasons of the Church and bring the richness of Sunday into everyday life—making faith more tangible, meaningful, and transformative throughout the week.

Designed for those with little to no prior knowledge of AI, the course provides a basic understanding of AI systems, their potential applications, and best practices for implementation in pastoral work. By the end of the course, students will have a foundational understanding of how AI tools and systems function, an awareness of the positive and negative aspects of such tools, and an understanding of the Church’s position on AI. They will also develop the ability to critically assess which contexts might benefit from introducing AI tools and which would not, as well as gain awareness of some AI tools that might prove useful in pastoral work.
