This course is aimed at those who already play the organ in our churches or those interested in starting this ministry, to help strengthen their understanding of the organist’s role. One or two sessions will be held in different churches, providing participants with the opportunity to practise on organs of various styles, models, and eras. Attendees will learn about the organ’s central place in the liturgy, its structure and maintenance, the art of registration, and the art of improvisation within the liturgy.
This course offers an engaging introduction to the Second Vatican Council, focusing on its historical context and transformative vision for the Church. Special attention is given to the four major constitutions and a thematic overview of the remaining documents. Participants will explore key teachings on revelation, liturgy, the Church, mission, and dialogue with the modern world—deepening their understanding of Vatican II’s call to renewal, evangelization, and active participation in the life of the Church.

The course also explores the use of the Lectionary, deepening participants' understanding of its structure and purpose in liturgical settings. Lectors will receive guidance on praying with the Holy Scriptures, enriching their spiritual lives and enhancing their ability to proclaim the Word. Ministering Holy Communion in Hospitals is designed for hospital volunteers who wish to receive both spiritual formation and practical guidance for distributing Holy Communion to patients in hospital care. Through theological reflection and liturgical instruction, participants will be introduced to the biblical and theological foundations of the Eucharist, as well as the pastoral and spiritual dimensions of this ministry
