This course offers an introduction to key themes of the main areas of Catholic theology. These include fundamental, scriptural, dogmatic, ecclesiological, and ethical concepts that guide the evangelizing mission of the Church. By the end of the course, the attendee will become aware of what the sources of theology are and gain a basic understanding of the main areas of Catholic theology.
This course is aimed at those who already play the organ in our churches or those interested in starting this ministry, to help strengthen their understanding of the organist’s role. One or two sessions will be held in different churches, providing participants with the opportunity to practise on organs of various styles, models, and eras. Attendees will learn about the organ’s central place in the liturgy, its structure and maintenance, the art of registration, and the art of improvisation within the liturgy.

Special attention is given to the four major constitutions and a thematic overview of the remaining documents. Participants will explore key teachings on revelation, liturgy, the Church, mission, and dialogue with the modern world—deepening their understanding of Vatican II’s call to renewal, evangelization, and active participation in the life of the Church.
This 12-session formation course provides ongoing formation for Knights and Dames and foundational formation for Esquires, grounding participants spiritually, historically, and pastorally in the Holy Land, the land of the Incarnation, Redemption, and Resurrection.
